YOUR DAY TO DAY:

• Design and implement security architectures for networks, systems, and applications, integrating security-by-design principles from the earliest stages;
• Deploy, configure, and operate network security solutions (next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN/IPsec, NAC, web and email filtering), keeping them running at peak performance;
• Design and secure inter-site and multi-cloud connectivity (IPsec, SD-WAN) and implement cloud network security controls: segmentation, security groups, private connectivity, and Zero Trust architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP);
• Secure container and Kubernetes networking (network policies, ingress, service exposure), including for AI infrastructure hosted in client environments;
• Run vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure, prioritize risks, and coordinate remediation and patching for network devices;
• Monitor network security events, respond promptly to alerts, and support incident investigations with root cause analysis;
• Manage identity and privileged access to network infrastructure (IAM, PAM/PIM, just-in-time access);
• Define and maintain network security standards, policies, and documentation aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SOC, AI, cloud, software development) and support client engagements: assessments, security reviews, and technical workshops.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, telecommunications, or a related field;
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering roles;
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, TLS);
• Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security solutions (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco), IDS/IPS, and VPN/IPsec;
• Experience securing cloud networks (Azure, AWS, or GCP): segmentation, security groups, private connectivity;
• Scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform);
• Knowledge of security standards and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA);
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Network security certifications: CCNP Security, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4+, Microsoft AZ-700/AZ-500, or CISSP (considered a plus);
• Experience with SD-WAN, Zero Trust network architectures, and NAC solutions (considered a plus);
• Kubernetes and container networking security experience (considered a plus);
• Experience in an MSSP or client-facing environment (considered a plus);
• Willing to work from Monday to Friday between 12:00 and 21:00 with 1 hour lunch break, in a hybrid system (4 days from our office).
