Junior Security Engineer

Your role

As a Junior Security Engineer, you’ll support the design, implementation, and maintenance of security tools and controls. Reporting to the Lead Security Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to both day-to-day operations and long-term improvements across the security environment.

• Assist with configuration and maintenance of security tools and platforms
• Support incident response and investigations alongside experienced engineers
• Contribute to monitoring, detection tuning and response improvements
• Help maintain secure configurations and strengthen system controls
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security into technology solutions
• Learn and apply automation or scripting to improve processes

You’re someone who brings curiosity, strong problem-solving ability, and a genuine desire to learn. You’re comfortable asking questions, working through challenges, and building your capability in a supportive and fast-paced team environment.

• Foundational exposure to security engineering, infrastructure or cloud environments
• Basic understanding of security tools and core concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
• Clear communication and willingness to collaborate with others
• Positive attitude with motivation to build a career in security
