Security Engineer

Looking for a role where you can help protect platforms that operate at national scale? As a Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in strengthening how Tabcorp secures technology across cloud, infrastructure and applications. Working with experienced security professionals and delivery teams, you'll help shape secure outcomes while continuing to build your technical depth in a fast-moving environment.

Your role, your impact

Reporting to the Security Engineer Lead, you'll help embed practical security controls across technology initiatives while supporting the ongoing protection of critical systems and services. Your work will influence how security is applied consistently across the organisation.

• Configure and maintain security platforms and monitoring tools
• Partner with delivery teams to embed security requirements
• Review systems and applications against security standards
• Recommend improvements to strengthen secure design practices
• Document procedures, standards and operational learnings
• Support junior engineers through knowledge sharing

You'll be a collaborative and curious security professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and continuously improving security outcomes. We’d love to see a balance of technical capability and a willingness to learn.

• Experience with security monitoring and protection technologies
• Strong capability in troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Ability to balance operational priorities and project work
• Proven ability to collaborate across technical teams
• Exposure to cloud and on-premises security environments
• Understanding of recognised security frameworks and standards
