Technical Security Analyst

Oxford (Hybrid) | £45,000 - £55,000 base salary + package

We’re looking for a technically focused security analyst who is interested in a role where you'll have genuine responsibility and exposure across a broad technology estate.

We're working with a growing technology business that develops its own platforms and helps major organisations manage risk, compliance and resilience. You'll join a small security team and play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, responding to threats and strengthening security across the business.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and responding to security threats and incidents.
• Vulnerability management and remediation.
• Working with SIEM/SOC tooling and security monitoring.
• Supporting firewall, VPN and network security technologies.
• Security assessments, audits and incident response.
• Supporting ISO 27001 and wider security governance activities.

What we're looking for

• Strong networking and infrastructure security knowledge.
• Experience with SIEM, SOC, threat detection and security monitoring.
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS or GCP) would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001 is advantageous.
