About the Role


We’re looking for an OT/IT Solution Architect & Integration Lead to join our Digital Solutions division and play a key role in designing and delivering digital solutions across Australia and New Zealand.


The position can be based from Auckland, NZ, Sydney, or other SUEZ BU’s where Digital Solutions is established including the middle east.


This diverse opportunity will combine solution architecture, project delivery and customer advisory, giving you the opportunity to work across both the technical and delivery sides of digital transformation.


You’ll help shape how operational technology and information technology come together, while also leading projects from initial concept through to implementation and handover.


Key areas of focus include:

  • Lead the design and governance of secure, scalable and maintainable OT/IT architectures for SUEZ digital solutions, connecting operational plant environments with digital, cloud and enterprise systems.
  • Develop practical and reliable integration solutions across control systems, operational data platforms and business applications ensuring they suit each customers operating environment.
  • Ensure architectures meet operational cyber security resilience and compliance requirements, including secure connectivity, appropriate network separation, and controlled data exchange,
  • Partner with customers, local OT/IT teams, operations, product management, the platform integrator lead, and delivery teams to resolve integration challenges and deliver solutions that are practical, supportable, and ready for operation.
  • Work directly with customer Operations, Engineering, IT and Cybersecurity teams to develop practical solutions.
  • Help customers navigate cloud adoption, legacy system modernisation, and OT/IT integration.
  • Bring technical thinking into tenders, proposals, workshops, and new solution development.
  • Guide project scope, risks, schedules, stakeholders, and delivery partners.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity, technology roadmaps, and broader digital transformation initiatives.


About You


You may have built your career in OT, industrial automation, IT, digital systems, systems integration or solution architecture. You bring a technical foundation however enjoy client facing work and have a keen interest in Project Management


You’ll bring:

  • 8+ years’ experience across OT/ IT, industrial automation, digital systems, solution architecture or related fields.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer Systems, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with SCADA, PLC/DCS, telemetry, industrial systems or digital platforms.
  • Experience delivering technology, digital transformation or infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of OT/IT integration, cybersecurity and cloud environments.
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions.
  • Experience in water, utilities, infrastructure or another regulated environment is advantageous.
