JOB SUMMARY
The Cybersecurity Consultant – IoT/OT will play a critical role in assessing, designing, and delivering security solutions across clients’ industrial and interconnected environments. This role combines technical cybersecurity expertise with strategic advisory capabilities, ensuring secure, resilient, and compliant IoT/OT ecosystems.
The consultant will work within multidisciplinary project teams—alongside technology, risk, and digital transformation professionals—to support the protection of operational technology systems, connected devices, and critical infrastructure.
This position will also contribute to building the firm’s internal cybersecurity capability, supporting the establishment of a scalable IoT/OT Security function within the Cyber and Digital Trust practice.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support security assessments and maturity evaluations for IoT and OT environments
- Assist in conducting threat modeling, risk assessments, and asset classification for industrial systems
- Contribute to the development of security architectures and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with technology, engineering, and risk teams to translate requirements into security controls
- Apply established security frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and OT security standards
- Support incident response activities and vulnerability analysis related to IoT/OT systems
- Participate in documentation of security procedures, technical reports, and implementation guidelines
- Contribute to internal capability-building initiatives and knowledge-sharing within the Cyber practice
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Security, or related field
- Basic understanding of IoT/OT security principles, industrial protocols, and cybersecurity standards
- Familiarity with ICS/SCADA environments, connected devices, and industrial network architectures
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and digital transformation security
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
- 1 – 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IoT security, OT security, or related field
- (Internships and academic projects considered relevant experience)
- Must have prior experience in a Big4 offshore hub

- Basic hands-on understanding of network segmentation, zero trust principles, and secure architectures
- Ability to support the creation of technical diagrams, risk matrices, and remediation plans
- Knowledge of OT/ICS security frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, ISO 27019)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset
- Strong report-writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Arabic and English proficiency
- Experience preparing proposals, RFP responses, and client presentations
- Knowledge of Digital Transformation cybersecurity considerations and methodologies
