As a Cyber Security Consultant, you support customers in designing, assessing, and improving the cybersecurity of embedded and connected systems across various industries. You combine technical expertise with consulting skills to identify security risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop robust security solutions for modern systems and products.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct threat and risk assessments for embedded and connected systems
- Develop cybersecurity concepts and secure system architectures
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing
- Advise customers on cybersecurity processes, standards, and regulations
- Lead technical discussions, workshops, and customer presentations
- Support project acquisition activities with technical expertise
- Collaborate with international and cross-functional teams on cybersecurity topics
Experience:
- Several years of experience in cybersecurity, embedded security, or IT security
- Experience with security assessments, risk analysis, or secure system design
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries is a plus
- Experience in customer-facing or consulting roles is beneficial
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 62443, NIS2, or the Cyber Resilience Act
- Experience with security testing and assessment methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Structured, analytical, and independent working style
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and domains
- Fluent Japanese and English
