Member Experience Specialist (Universal Teller)

This role combines the accuracy and efficiency of a traditional teller with the relationship-building and consultative approach of a New Account Specialist. You will assist members with their day-to-day banking needs, educate them on products and services, and create positive experiences that strengthen long-term member relationships.
The Member Experience Specialist processes routine and complex transactions, opens and maintains consumer, business, and specialty accounts, explains account features and services, and ensures compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role is also responsible for identifying member needs and referring members to lending, retirement, and other Credit Union services when appropriate.
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about member service, relationship building, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The Member Experience Specialist works closely with colleagues to support branch operations, deliver exceptional member experiences, and contribute to branch and organizational goals.

As a representative of Park City Credit Union, the Member Experience Specialist helps create positive relationships with members and supports the Credit Union's commitment to serving our communities. This position participates in branch promotions, community initiatives, financial wellness efforts, and other activities that strengthen member engagement and support organizational goals. The Member Experience Specialist serves as a welcoming and knowledgeable resource, helping members gain confidence in their financial decisions and experience the value of Credit Union membership.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a financial institution or customer-facing service role preferred.
- Cash handling experience and strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of deposit accounts, banking products, digital banking services, and financial services.
- Ability to demonstrate and educate members on digital banking tools and services, helping them confidently utilize technology to meet their financial needs.
- Ability and enthusiasm to recommend Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and member service skills.
- Ability to accurately process transactions and maintain account documentation in compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Ability to handle member concerns with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to teamwork, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect member information.
