Institutional Sales Support Specialist

Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is looking for an Institutional Sales Support Specialist to join our growing Sales team. This is a vital supporting role within the Institutional Sales team — one that keeps our Sales Engineers organized, our customers well-served, and our internal workflows running smoothly. No prior product or industry knowledge is necessary.

Job Responsibilities

• Process quotes, complete bids, and handle purchase orders to support the sales team
• Organize and maintain customer groups and Sales Engineer databases
• Coordinate with the Contract Sales team and serve as an internal liaison across departments
• Provide direct support to customers, including follow-up communication via phone and email
• Research potential clients and maintain accurate existing client records
• Support Sales Engineers by managing workflow priorities and engagement
• Facilitate communication and information-sharing between Sales and Rental teams
• Manage reporting, data entry, and administrative paperwork related to institutional sales

• 2+ years of experience in an administrative, sales support, or customer-facing role
• Proficiency in word processing, Excel, and email
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Empathetic, people-first mindset with a genuine drive to help others
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with 4D or other internal sales/CRM systems
• Background in B2B, EDU, or institutional sales environments
• High school diploma or equivalent
