Customer Experience Specialist

Summertown Metals is looking for a welcoming face and someone to be the first impression of Summertown Metals—greeting each guest with warmth, professionalism, and a proactive commitment to understanding their needs. This role balances hospitality with operational efficiency, requiring strong multitasking, a solution-minded attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

What it will take:

• Greet all visitors and customers warmly, creating a positive first impression
• Always maintain a professional appearance and friendly demeanor
• Remain calm and organized while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Respond promptly and professionally to walk-ins, phone calls, emails, social media messages, and chatbot inquiries. in a manner that is in alignment with Summertown Metals’ brand tone and timing expectations
• Efficiently assist customers in connecting with front counter staff during peak hours, including taking messages for follow-up when necessary
• Ensure waiting customers are comfortable and informed
• Work with sales and marketing to be familiar with promotions and advertisements to best educate contacts and to attribute them accordingly to specific campaigns and events
• Engage customers in meaningful conversation to understand their needs to determine if they are a marketing qualified lead ready for a handoff to the sales team
• Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and presentable between scheduled cleanings
• Maintain fresh coffee and popcorn throughout the day
• Help with some Summertown Metals exhibit booths or open houses set-up and tear down
• Periodic Summertown Metals exhibit booth or open house presence
• Other duties as they may be assigned
