Responsibilities
- Accountable for scheduling all BMG Oncology patients for BH infusion and diagnostic service, as well as return ambulatory appointments.
- Monitors, documents and completes any insurance verification (benefit) requirements.
- Ensure BHC has accurate and current information to process claims and to obtain payment including complete review of financial clearances.
- Understands all regulatory agency requirements (i.e. Joint Commission, HIPPA, EMTALA, OIG, and CMS, etc.) as it relates to software under PASS’ management.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- 1-3 years Customer service or health care related experience Required
- Knowledge of medical terminology; records management; and basic computer skills.
- Ability to function in high paced, often stressful environment and/or circumstances while maintaining a respectful, caring and professional manner.
- Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literate and experienced in Excel.
- Customer driven.
- Proven assessment skills of both people and operations.
