Company Description

Anton Paar Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of Anton Paar GmbH, has over 170 employees and is responsible for the distribution and service of precision measuring instruments. To bring exceptional products and services to market, we need remarkable and motivated individuals.

Job Description

  • Point of contact for customers and sales! You’ll support our customers by phone, email, remote diagnostics, or on-site with the operation of our rheometers and viscometers, the interpretation of measurement results, the use of measurement software, commissioning, training, and much more. In doing so, you’ll work closely with your colleagues at both the Ostfildern location and in the sales department.
  • Measurements! In our applications lab or on-site at the customer’s location, you will perform measurements on customer samples—such as viscosity measurements of liquids or measurements of the deformation behavior of solid samples—and prepare the corresponding measurement reports.
  • Knowledge sharing! The equipment installations and training sessions you conduct at our customers’ sites are the best opportunity to share your product-specific knowledge. You’ll also play an active role in designing workshops and seminars as part of your work.

Qualifications

  • Communication and Mobility: In addition to enjoying customer contact, you have fluent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English skills, as well as a Class 3/B driver’s license.
  • Qualifications: You have a degree in a technical or natural science field or equivalent vocational training, such as a CTA (m/f/d). In addition, you have a basic understanding of physics and chemistry, for example in the fields of materials science, polymer science, chemical engineering, physics/biophysics, food technology, coatings technology, or a similar field.
  • Experience: You should possess theoretical and, ideally, practical knowledge of rheology, viscosity measurement, and the measurement of flow and deformation behavior. Additionally, you can demonstrate your capabilities through initial laboratory experience. You work daily with common computer programs and have already gained some experience operating laboratory equipment software.
  • Versatility: You have no trouble independently planning and conducting client meetings and training sessions. Your profile is rounded out by a confident demeanor and a structured approach to work.

Additional Information

  • Pleasant working environment: Collegial atmosphere, team spirit, and career prospects
  • Comprehensive onboarding: Intensive introduction, open communication, and individual mentoring
  • Attractive conditions: Permanent contract, 13.5 monthly salaries, company pension scheme, and company bike options
  • Appealing overall package: Flexible working hours, 30 vacation days with a 5-day work week
