Job Description – Senior AI Engineer (.NET, Python, Azure, Agentic AI)

Position Title : Senior AI Engineer

Experience : 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions in enterprise environments.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale next-generation AI applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET and Python development, knowledge of Microsoft Azure, and proven experience delivering AI/Generative AI solutions from concept to production.

This role requires hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks, orchestration platforms, LLM integration, RAG architecture, and enterprise-grade AI solution development. The candidate should be comfortable working across the full AI lifecycle, including model integration, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, deployment, monitoring, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable AI-driven applications using .NET (C#) and Python.

• Build and deploy enterprise AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Agentic AI architectures.

• Develop intelligent agents and multi-agent workflows using modern agent orchestration frameworks.

• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions with vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.

• Integrate AI services with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platforms.

• Build reusable AI components, services, and accelerators following engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to define AI use cases and technical solutions.

• Ensure AI solutions meet enterprise requirements for security, governance, scalability, and performance.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to AI engineering standards and best practices.

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

• 2+ years of experience delivering AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in production environments.

• Demonstrated experience working on enterprise-scale AI implementations.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in .NET/C# development.

• Strong proficiency in Python for AI/ML application development.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-native development.

• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Services, Azure Functions, API Management, and Azure storage services.

• Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search technologies.
