Customer Service Specialist

Gilbarco Veeder-Root is a leading global provider of fuelling and convenience store equipment and technology. What You Will Do

Work as the Customer Service Specialist—you’ll conduct back-office activities, process customer orders, oversee outbound customs/trade matters, and maintain critical customer data, all while boosting revenue efficiency, hitting delivery timelines and elevating the entire customer experience across Southeast Asia!

Office location: 450/2 Boonyasatit Building, Rama 3 Road, Bangklo, Bangkholaem, Bangkok 10120

Work Setup: Hybrid & In person

To break it down, your responsibilities will include:

• Master international trade requirements especially within the Southeast Asia region
• Assess and process orders with factories and customers
• Evaluate orders and get required approvals (pricing, discount, shipping etc.) prior to processing
• Log all orders into the Order book
• Coordinate with factories on production lead times and ensure order readiness
• Attend factory calls to understand production issues and discuss ways to improve delivery times
• Ensure an appropriate order flow with the compliance to organizational policies
• Coordinate the finance department to resolve invoice and pricing issues
• Monitor & evaluate factory orders processes and provide weekly reports to customers and sales
• Manage communication between all regional stakeholders (Finance, Commercial Sales, Leadership)
• Work with factory and customers for a smooth order to delivery process (E2E)
• Verify the accuracy of shipping documents and proactively avoid any issues during custom clearance
• Upkeep and maintain customer order database
• Log, monitor and evaluate all order sales issues
• Collaborate and assist commercial sales team when required

To be successful in this role, YOU will bring:

• At least 2-5 years customer service experience
• Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain
• Experience in International Trade
• Knowledge of import/export carriers and customs matters.
• Strong Excel dashboard and visual presentation skills
• Significant attention to detail
• Problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Verbal & Written)
• Strong teamwork attitude
• English and Thai - Full Professional Proficiency
• Qualification in any relevant field
• Fuel Retail industry knowledge and experience (preferable)
• Ability to build and sustain relationships at all levels within and external to the organization.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
