Job Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused team member to join our liquor store. In this role, you’ll be the face of our business — helping customers find the perfect product, keeping our store organized and well-stocked, and ensuring every transaction is smooth and compliant with alcohol regulations.
This is a hands-on retail position that requires flexibility to work evenings (3:30-10pm), weekends (either 8:30-3:30 or 3:30-10pm, Sunday 10:30-5) and holidays, as these are our busiest times. You’ll spend much of your shift on your feet, assisting customers, stocking shelves, and handling deliveries. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in great service, and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to get the job done, this could be the perfect fit for you.

- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves, coolers, and displays to create an inviting shopping experience.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and labeling incoming inventory, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Monitor product freshness and quality, removing expired or damaged items promptly.
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up seasonal or promotional displays that drive sales.
- Keep the store secure by following opening and closing procedures and reporting any suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and deliver excellent customer service.
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and promotions to better assist customers
Requirements
- Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience (liquor, wine, or grocery store experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — you enjoy engaging with customers and building rapport.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs (e.g., cases of beverages).
- Basic math skills for handling cash, giving change, and managing simple inventory counts.
- Attention to detail and commitment to following alcohol sales laws, including ID verification.
- Reliability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help wherever needed in the store.
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol in your state/province.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
