Role Description

The Insurance Staff Position is a full-time, on-site role located in Titusville, FL. This role involves assisting customers with insurance inquiries, explaining coverage options, preparing quotes, and processing policy changes and renewals. The position includes supporting insurance brokerage activities, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation for policies and claims. Daily responsibilities also include handling phone calls and in-person visits, providing responsive customer service, managing billing questions, and maintaining up-to-date records in the agency’s systems. Team members collaborate with colleagues to meet office goals, follow compliance procedures, and contribute to a professional and welcoming environment for all customers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of insurance concepts and products, with exposure to insurance brokerage or agency operations.
• Basic understanding of finance and comfort discussing billing, premiums, and policy-related financial information.
• Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication tailored to diverse customer needs.
• Proven customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in processing documents, policy changes, and customer information.
• Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively within a small office team.
• Proficiency with common office software and ability to learn agency management systems quickly.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or customer-facing roles is preferred; relevant state insurance licensing is a plus or may be required.
