Provide excellent customer service to the facilities in taking orders, answering questions, referring information and phone calls to the appropriate departments.

- Answer incoming phone calls from patients and caregivers.
- Respond to customer questions about prescriptions, refills, and pharmacy services.
- Assist in submission of refill requests to the Data Entry department.
- Help facilities/patients understand prescription status and delivery schedules.
- Verify and update patient information in pharmacy systems.
- Resolve basic customer concerns and escalate complex issues when needed.
- Document customer interactions accurately in the pharmacy system.
- Coordinate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to address patient needs.
- Provide friendly, professional service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Follow HIPAA and company privacy policies.
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB), preferred
- 2+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
- Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
- Ability to work flexible hours
