Chief of Staff KC is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a client within the Lawrence, KS area. This individual enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and making sure every customer has a positive experience. In this role, you’ll serve as a dedicated point of contact for a group of returning customers, helping them navigate orders, answering questions, and providing reliable support from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for a dedicated group of returning customers, building strong and lasting relationships through responsive, personalized service.
- Manage email correspondence and customer requests for a large book of accounts, including dropship customers.
- Accurately enter and process customer orders, paying close attention to detail and ensuring information is complete and correct.
- Respond to customer questions and inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Learn each customer’s needs, preferences, and ordering patterns to provide increasingly personalized support as relationships develop.
- Introduce new customers to available catalogs and resources while helping them become familiar with the ordering process.
- Follow up on customer needs and ensure questions, orders, and issues are handled in a timely manner.
- Work collaboratively with a team of Customer Service Representatives to provide consistent, high-quality service and create a positive customer experience.
- Maintain a high level of organization while managing multiple customer needs and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Customer service experience with a genuine interest in helping others and building positive relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and other standard computer applications.
- Reliable, responsive, and comfortable working within established processes and expectations.
- Ability to take direction, learn new systems and processes, and apply feedback effectively.
- Willingness to commit to a 4–6 month learning curve as you become familiar with the products, customers, and processes.
- Ability to work fully onsite.
