Summary: TheRegional Service Managerposition is responsible for managingall aspects of service fordealerships andcustomers and ensuressatisfaction with service work.Assist customersand dealers with troubleshooting and repair of service-related problems. Location:Remote/San Francisco CA area What We Offer - Competitive compensationthat recognizes your skills, experience, and impact - Performance-based annual bonusesthat reward results and contributions - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageto support your well-being - 401(k) with a 4% company matchto help you invest in your future - 8 paid company holidaysto rest, recharge, and maintain work-life balance Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for the overall service deliveryperformance levels andcustomer satisfaction levelsof assigned Region. - Assists indevelopingcorrective action plans with assigneddealerships and customersto close any service delivery gaps identified. - Tracks,reportsand follows-up on product and technical issuesfor dealerships and customersby proactively working with Autocar Solutions Team - Gives dealerships suggestions on improving their service department by reviewing dealer service operations to include required tooling, Promote and ensure dealership has Autocar trained technicians to handle workload. - Developsand managesstrong relationships at all levels of the customer’s organizationand maintains customer confidence in the Autocar product. - Developstrong relationships with Regional Business Managers and National Account Sales in their region - Coordinateswith engineering and technical service departments to develop and ensure that service performance and quality specifications are met. - Coordinates cost effective, self-managed travel schedules. - Other duties may be assigned. Requirements: Education: - Bachelor'sdegree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; orthree to fiveyears related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Class B- Commercial Driver Licenseor ability to obtainisrequired. - Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certificationor ability to obtainisrequired. - Cummins Certification ispreferred. - Allison Certification ispreferred. - Ability to Autocar Master Technician Certification Experience: - Previous experience in the Heavy-Duty Truck industry is required, specific experience in the Refuse industry ispreferred. Skills: - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. - A thorough working knowledge of: - MS Office - AXIS (Team Center Engineering - IMAN, QAD, ADNET)preferred Physical Requirements: - Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods while working on computer-aided design software. - Capable of standing, walking, and bending during lab testing or production floor visits. - Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, such as electrical components or testing equipment. - Visual acuity for reviewing detailed schematics, inspecting prototypes, and using computer screens.
