Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Provide basic product information and customer support, addressing routine questions and concerns
- Assess and resolve entry-level customer complaints, escalating complex issues as needed
- Verify and accurately input customer orders into the ERP system
- Assemble and distribute order packets to the production team to support workflow
- Send invoices and acknowledgements, and assist with assembling and filing invoice packets
- Maintain accurate customer contact records and document all customer interactions in internal systems
- Provide administrative support to Finance by recording incoming checks, organizing invoice records, and maintaining filing systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; may consider education and experience in lieu of diploma
- Associate’s degree in business administration, or related field preferred (but not required)
- Basic understanding of customer service principles and practices
- Familiarity with office procedures such as filing, recordkeeping, and document management
- General knowledge of data entry and order processing work
- Exposure to ERP systems or similar business software (preferred but can be learned on the job)
- Basic understanding of invoicing and administrative support functions
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to multi task
