Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the schedules for our clients/families with our personal support specialist (PSS) field staff that provide services in client homes.
- Provide excellent customer service and accurate, thorough, and timely communication with clients/families and the field staff team.
- Collaborate with others to place staff and clients with the right fit.
- Engage in problem solving scheduling conflicts and issues with clients and staff, the care team and managers.
- Rotate after-hours On Call phone coverage with others round two rotations a month.
- Good computer skills: ability to enter data and log information into electronic medical records; ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
- Ability to navigate smart phones and help field staff troubleshoot their schedules and documentation with smart phones.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively multitask in a high-functioning environment.
- Ability to handle and adapt to changes.
- Attention to detail, problem solving and follow through.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service skills with compassion, and a respect for client/patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Professional and respectful phone etiquette in conversing with our elderly and/or disabled clients, their families, the care team, other agencies, etc.
- Customer service or other office experience in a health care or home care setting is preferred. Associate’s degree or a combination of education and work experience in an office is preferred.
