Winberry is supporting a growing renewable energy business looking for an experienced Solar Commercial Designer to join their expanding team.

The role will focus on designing commercial Solar PV systems, producing accurate technical designs and supporting projects from initial development through to delivery.

• Designing commercial Solar PV systems across rooftop, ground-mounted and canopy projects
• Producing detailed technical drawings and layouts
• Developing designs from initial concept through to installation
• Supporting system sizing, equipment selection and technical specifications
• Working closely with project, commercial and installation teams
• Ensuring designs are practical, accurate and buildable
• Supporting DNO applications and technical documentation where required

• Commercial Solar PV design experience
• Strong understanding of Solar PV systems and electrical principles
• Experience producing technical drawings using CAD or similar design software
• Experience working on commercial or industrial Solar PV projects
• Strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of designs from concept through to delivery
• Relevant electrical/design qualifications advantageous
