Associate Operations Coordinator

Our client, a global third-party logistics and supply chain management company, is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and shipment operations. This position is ideal for candidates with strong computer skills, professional communication abilities, and experience working with Microsoft Office and other business software applications. This is a part-time one year contract role with hours of Monday from 9:00 pm - 12:00 am, Friday from 9:00 pm - 12:00 am and Saturday from 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer customer emails and phone calls professionally and provide shipment updates
• Create and manage orders, activate shipments, schedule appointments, and track deliveries
• Monitor shared inboxes and respond to customer and carrier requests
• Build and assign loads, enter shipment events, and assist with invoicing
• Maintain accurate data entry and documentation within company systems
• Follow established procedures and escalate issues when appropriate
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely follow-up and communication

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service experience required
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
• Prior experience in a call center, logistics, transportation, or fast-paced customer service environment is a plus
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours
