Warehouse Auxiliary (Second Shift)

Position Summary
Load and unload trucks; organize and rotate inventory orders; monitor warehouse temperatures; assist in inventory reconciliation. This is a Monday-Friday second shift position. Training will be in the city of Industry with paid mileage.
Essential Job Functions
- Receive and process product orders; support inventory accuracy, including but not limited to reviewing inbound documentation, product receipt, and reconciliation. Assemble and stage product orders for presale and onboard sales routes
- Receive inbound truck loads; unload and store product; assist in shipping outbound truck loads; report inbound overages, shortages, or damages to leadership
- Ensure proper food handling procedures. Organize and rotate products in the warehouse cooler or freezer to prevent spoilage. Report and follow up on product Quality complaints and ensure the product is blocked in SAP and physically held in the warehouse. Assist in weekly bad conditions reconciliation and upload documentation to the shared folder. Process and document product returns and disposal of outdated products
- Report to warehouse management, cooler and freezer repair requirements, material handling equipment maintenance requirements, and pallet disposal and or acquisition. Monitor warehouse temperatures. Perform equipment inspections
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One (1) year of warehouse experience
- Experience with materials handling equipment, including pallet jack and forklift
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, reading, writing & speaking
- Pallet jack and Forklift certification, Experience in food products
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd shifts
- Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
- While performing duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The associate is frequently required to walk. The associate is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities may be required by this job, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles.
