The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
We are looking for a Customer Service Professional to join our team at Roebuck, SC.
As a Customer Service Professional, you will be one of our points of contact for industrial electrical distribution products. You will be responsible for delivering a best-in-class customer support experience while leveraging data to create meaningful insights that are customer-focused. This is an on-site role, and the candidate will report to the Factory Customer Service Supervisor and will have no direct reports.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and optimize pre-defined tools, applications, databases, and data management systems; create reports and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders, including management, customers, and support teams.
- Provide support for pre- and post-shipment inquiries, warranty issues, and other customer-related requests.
- Assist in resolving customer problems by applying problem-solving skills to address most situations.
- Coordinate with other Customer Service Representatives and cross-functional departments to identify and implement appropriate solutions.
- Provide quick, detailed, and effective responses to customer inquiries, escalating queries and concerns as necessary.
- Support additional projects and initiatives as directed by the Customer Service Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
- 1+ years of customer service, customer support, inside sales support, order management, or related experience.
- Experience communicating with customers via phone, email, or written correspondence and adapting communication and support approaches to meet diverse customer needs.
- Experience analyzing customer issues and providing effective solutions.
- Experience managing multiple customer requests, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using computer systems, databases, or business applications to perform daily job responsibilities and ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP system
- Semi-Technical knowledge of Busway & Lighting Panels products
- Proficient with Excel and other databases/data systems
