Customer Service Representative

Location: Wheat Ridge, CO; Casper, WY; or Albuquerque, NM (Single open position; candidate will be based out of one of these three primary office locations).

The Role:

The Customer Service Representative’s primary responsibility is to engage enthusiastically with Swagelok’s wide-ranging customer base through tasks related to customer service and order entry. Applicant must be organized with an acute attention to detail as prompt execution of these tasks is a priority for this position. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required if you possess the qualities and work ethic necessary for success. Customer Service Representatives report to the Customer Service Manager.

What you will do:

1. Engage with customers through telephone and email; manage customer expectations to ensure a positive customer experience.

2. Generate quotes and orders based on part numbers provided by customers or Account Managers, reach out to Manufacturer as needed, prepare and provide price and delivery information to the customer or Account Manager; monitor and communicate status updates as needed.

3. Build long-term relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.

4. Work with account managers and management to ensure first class customer service - problem solving and resolving issues when necessary.

5. Complete ongoing training to gain additional knowledge and expertise of products, applications, and industries.

6. Develop a working knowledge of the Swagelok Quality System.

7. Continually learn about clients’ business needs and cultures to better assist their needs.

8. Consistently complete tasks within process functions.

9. Meet quantitative performance metrics as outlined.

10. All other duties as assigned.

· $24.00-$26.44 per hour ($49,920-$55,000 FTE) DOE in addition to the yearly incentive plan. This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime offered.

Qualifications:

· Undergraduate degree preferred

· Experience with SAP preferred

· Experience with ticketing systems preferred

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Computer competence and literacy

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· High level of attention to detail

· Teamwork skills

· Interpersonal and customer service skills

· Ability to learn quickly and be coachable

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, and light lifting (typically less than 50 lbs.).
