Description

In this role, you'll be working on designing and implementing features for enabling Satellite communication when iPhone or Watch Ultra is off-grid to implementing features like RCS End-to-End encryption for making messaging more secure.

Our team works on a wide array of problems, and if you're passionate about building cool stuff in a fast-paced environment, we may have the job for you.

Responsibilities:

Design and implementation of new features.

Defining, planning, and designing the overall system architectures and protocols for our products.

Work cross-functionally with other software teams.

Debugging failures during field, interoperability, and type-approval testing.

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated experience mentoring other team members while leading projects.

iOS Development experience, including experience with Objective-C/Swift and Apple development tools.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently or in small teams.

Comfortable with juggling projects across different domains.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of industry experience.

Strong experience writing C++ code in a POSIX environment.

Broad experience in overall system design and implementation

Solid understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
