Experience and Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years of production-level React experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Engineering Manager (must be clearly documented in your resume).
• Deep expertise in modern React, including hooks, functional components, and state management.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous JavaScript.
• C1 English level or higher.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Software Architecture, Technical Leadership.

This role demands a technical leader who can drive the development of high-performance, responsive web interfaces using React while taking ownership of daily team operations. You will act as a force multiplier, unblocking engineers, establishing frontend best practices, and mentoring the team, all while remaining hands-on with the codebase. Working in a distributed Latin American team, you will own end-to-end feature implementation from component architecture to production deployment. Your work directly impacts the user experience of a high-precision tax preparation platform where speed, accuracy, and accessibility are critical. You will also collaborate closely with backend engineers and contribute to .NET services when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend and cross-functional engineers, setting daily technical direction and code review standards.
• Architect and build complex React components and feature modules with minimal supervision.
• Optimize application performance using code splitting, memoization, and efficient state management.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design API contracts and contribute directly to .NET backend tasks when necessary.
• Identify and resolve team bottlenecks, diagnose production issues across browsers, and maintain high standards for testing and documentation.
