Description
Duties:
Lead the design and building of major pricing and underwriting programs in Earnix.
Drive best practices within Earnix, while coordinating with modeling, data and technology teams to drive successful Earnix transformations, ultimately increasing speed to market and deploying more sophisticated models across Line of Business (LOBs).
Influence the direction of and implement adapted country-wide initiatives and conduct high level analyses to support strategic direction of assigned states or product line.
Independently manage projects of low to moderate complexity.
Present state reviews, other high complexity analyses and results of countrywide initiatives for Product managers.
Create and maintain rigorous data models for Earnix analytical projects and API.
Facilitate design of Rate Order Calculations in Earnix and integration with upstream services to fully enable capabilities of Earnix Coordinate planning and execution with Tech and Data Solutions teams with understanding of high-level rating architecture.
Enable the business to make clear trade-offs between and among choices, with a reasonable view of likely outcomes.
Hand-on experience configuring and validating pricing logic within rating engine, including rate tables and rule execution.
Telecommuting permitted up to 100%.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Economics, Engineering [any] or related field and six [6] years of experience in the job offered or in a Consultant, Product Research-related occupation.
Position requires two (2) years of experience in creating rating logic and implementing rating programs in tools including Earnix, Radar Live, or IBM Modeler.
Position requires demonstrable experience in the following:
1.Understanding of rating algorithm structures, including their components, inputs, and outputs.
2.Manipulating data using SAS, R, or Python to create summary statistics and tables including knowledge of group by and summary functions.
3.Understanding processes and tools needed to implement new rating programs into market.
4.Advanced technical abilities in Excel and PowerPoint include ability to use vlookup, index, and match functions.
5.Experience supporting or troubleshooting pricing programs post deployment.
Experience may be gained during graduate program. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience. Multiple Positions Available.
