Strategic Account Manager, Supply Chain & Retail

A fast-growing AI company is hiring a Strategic Account Manager for its LATAM team. The product is an AI platform that helps retailers and supply chain organizations optimize inventory, replenishment, and distribution. It already works with some of the world's leading retail brands, and LATAM is expanding fast.

This isn't a "sell the software" role. It's a "understand the customer's operation better than most people in the room" role.

The role

You'll be a true subject matter expert and trusted advisor, not a quota-carrying seller or a slide-deck presenter. You're the bridge between clients and the product: you come into a sales process the commercial team has opened, go deep with decision-makers to uncover real business pain, and work with R&D and implementation to design solutions that genuinely fit. Then you stay, owning the relationship through delivery, adoption, and growth.

What you'll do

Pre-sales: discovery and solution design

  • Talk to senior stakeholders (C-level, VP Operations, Supply Chain Directors) and dig into their business, challenges, and gaps
  • Map their processes, pain points, and constraints
  • Work with product and implementation to scope solutions, check feasibility, and confirm fit
  • Define resources, contribute to pricing, and shape commercial proposals
  • Lead with insight, not demos

Post-sales: implementation, adoption, and growth

  • Partner with implementation and Customer Success during onboarding and go-live
  • Make sure clients see measurable value: watch adoption, spot gaps, step in early
  • Build long-term trusted-advisor relationships
  • Find upsell and expansion opportunities organically, based on real outcomes
  • Bring the customer's voice back to product and leadership

Who you are

You've spent real time inside Supply Chain or Retail. Not read about it, lived it. You've run complex projects, dealt with messy data, difficult stakeholders, and tight timelines.

  • Background at a consulting firm, system integrator, or technology reseller in Supply Chain or Retail
  • Hands-on experience leading complex implementation projects (inventory, replenishment, WMS, demand planning, or similar)
  • Deep familiarity with LATAM retail and supply chain: market dynamics, enterprise culture, and how decisions get made in Mexico, Colombia, and nearby markets
  • Comfortable building trust with C-level and operational leadership alike
  • Strong analytical mindset, comfortable turning data and KPIs into clear business stories
  • Native or fluent Spanish plus excellent English, written and spoken (required)
  • Based in Colombia or Mexico, willing to travel across the region

What this role is not

  • Not a quota-carrying sales rep chasing deals
  • Not someone who relies on demos and marketing decks
  • Not a generalist account manager without deep domain expertise

If you've never stood in a distribution center trying to figure out why replenishment is failing, this probably isn't the right fit.

What's on offer

  • A high-impact, highly visible role at a fast-growing AI company
  • The chance to shape the LATAM presence, working with top-tier retail and supply chain brands
  • A collaborative global team that values expertise, integrity, and real problem-solving
  • Competitive compensation: base, performance incentives, and equity
  • Remote work from Colombia or Mexico, with regional travel
