Account Manager - Perfect Portal


Location: Southport (Hybrid) / Fully Remote Available

Salary: Competitive base salary plus commission, giving you the opportunity to maximise your earnings.

We’re looking for an Account Manager who enjoys building trusted relationships as much as delivering commercial success. You’ll work closely with a portfolio of law firms, ensuring they achieve maximum value from Perfect Portal while identifying opportunities to expand their use of our solutions through a consultative approach.

As our customer base continues to grow, we’re expanding the team to strengthen client relationships, increase product adoption, and identify new commercial opportunities across our existing customer base.


What you’ll be doing


In this role, you will:


  • Manage a portfolio of existing law firm clients, acting as their primary point of contact
  • Take ownership of new client accounts following handover from the New Business Team
  • Successfully onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth implementation and rollout of Perfect Portal
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and training sessions, both remotely and in person
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships that drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
  • Monitor customer usage and proactively identify opportunities to improve platform adoption
  • Conduct regular account reviews to understand client objectives and recommend best practice
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional Perfect Portal products, services, and functionality
  • Support contract renewals whilst driving upsell and cross-sell opportunities across your customer portfolio
  • Work closely with the Product, Support, and Sales teams to resolve customer issues and improve the overall client experience
  • Capture customer feedback and market insight to help shape future product development
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity within the CRM
  • Achieve and exceed account management, retention, and commercial growth targets through a consultative approach


What we’re looking for


Essential


  • Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or a consultative client-facing role
  • Demonstrable success managing customer relationships and growing existing accounts
  • Experience delivering client training, onboarding, or software demonstrations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, including Partners, Directors, and Practice Managers
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to identify revenue opportunities
  • Proactive, accountable, and customer-focused approach
  • Experience using CRM systems


Desirable (but not essential)


  • Experience working within the legal or conveyancing sector
  • Experience within Legal Technology or SaaS
  • Experience managing software implementations
  • Knowledge of client onboarding platforms or case management software


Working Hours


  • Your working week will be 37.5 hours, typically between 9:00am and 5:30pm
  • This role offers flexible working and can be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote
  • Remote colleagues will be expected to work from our Southport Head Office for a minimum of two days each month
  • Occasional travel to client sites throughout the UK will also be required
