Account Manager – Dental Technology

Position Overview
A rapidly growing software company serving dental practices nationwide is seeking an Account Manager to join its innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused professional who understands the dental insurance verification process and has a genuine interest in technology, automation, and process improvement.
This is not a sales role. The Account Manager will serve as a trusted partner to existing dental practice clients, ensuring their needs are understood, communicated, and addressed by the internal technology team. The ideal candidate will be naturally curious, technically minded, and motivated by finding smarter and more efficient ways to solve problems.
The organization is at the forefront of technology within the dental insurance verification space and offers an opportunity to work closely with a small, entrepreneurial team where individual contributions have a meaningful impact.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is someone who loves learning how things work and finding ways to make them better. A strong understanding of dental insurance verification is important, but equally important is the desire to grow beyond traditional administrative responsibilities and become deeply involved in technology and process improvement.
Success in this role requires someone who is genuinely invested in client relationships, takes ownership of problems, and approaches challenges with curiosity and a solutions-oriented mindset. The right individual will be a trusted advocate for clients while also embracing the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing technology company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with an established portfolio of dental practice clients.
  • Serve as the primary voice of the customer, clearly communicating client needs, challenges, and opportunities to the internal team.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client workflows, software capabilities, and insurance verification processes.
  • Work closely with clients to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.
  • Translate customer feedback and business needs into actionable requirements for the technology team.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the software and its capabilities, with the opportunity to make certain program and workflow adjustments with appropriate guidance and oversight.
  • Troubleshoot client questions and work collaboratively to identify effective solutions.
  • Monitor client satisfaction, adoption, and overall success.
  • Identify recurring issues or process gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with leadership, account management, business development, and technical team members to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Stay curious about emerging technology and identify ways automation can improve dental office operations.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to communicate priorities, progress, and goals.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities while working independently in a fully remote environment.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with insurance verification, preferably within a dental practice environment such as oral surgery, orthodontics, general dentistry, periodontics, or endodontics.
  • Strong understanding of dental office workflows and the role insurance verification plays in practice operations.
  • Technically curious with an interest in software, automation, and technology-driven solutions.
  • Comfortable learning new software and understanding how systems and processes work.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into clear, actionable information for technical and non-technical team members.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of managing priorities independently.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with a genuine desire to help clients succeed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes and responsibilities may continue to develop.
Compensation & Work Environment:
  • Salary: $65,000–$80,000, based on experience
  • Annual discretionary bonus
  • 100% remote
  • Must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone
  • Flexible work schedule with a collaborative team environment
  • Daily team meeting to align priorities and goals
At our clients’ request, only individuals with required experience will be considered.

Please note - if you have recently submitted your resume to a PangeaTwo posting, your qualifications will be considered for other open opportunities.
