Martailer · Remote (Ukraine) · Full-time
About usMartailer is an omnichannel retail media platform. Retailers and marketplaces use us to build and run their own advertising businesses — sponsored products, display, email, offsite, and in-store screens — turning vendor and brand budgets into one of the highest-margin revenue lines they have.
We're headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, and the platform sits behind retail media networks across the Nordics and Baltics. We're now growing our work with Ukrainian retailers and marketplaces, and we want someone in Ukraine to own it.
The roleYou'll be responsible for our Ukrainian clients and for how fast their retail media businesses grow.
This is not a simple support role and it is not account admin. Retail media in Ukraine is still early: most retailers have inventory, traffic, and vendor relationships, but no real media business built on top of them. Your job is to help them build it — and then keep pushing the numbers up.
What you'll own- A portfolio of Ukrainian retailers and marketplaces, from onboarding through to the point where retail media is a meaningful line in their P&L.
- The client's media offer: working with their commercial teams on inventory, ad formats, pricing, packaging, and seasonal planning so their vendors actually buy.
- The numbers. Fill rate, ad revenue per session, advertiser retention, ROAS, share of vendor budget — you should see the trend before the client does and arrive at every review with a specific recommendation, not a status update.
- Senior relationships. Quarterly business reviews with commercial directors and C-level, and being the person they call when something is wrong.
- The feedback loop back to us: what Ukrainian retailers and their vendors need, where the product falls short, what we should build next. You'll have direct access to the engineering team and your input will change the roadmap.
- Renewal and expansion across your accounts.
- 5+ years in customer success, account management, or another client-facing commercial role — in adtech, martech, e-commerce, media, or retail.
- Working knowledge of digital advertising economics: CPM/CPC, campaign performance, ad serving basics. Direct experience with retail media, marketplace seller ads, or CPG trade budgets is the shortest path in, but it isn't a hard requirement.
- Commercial instinct. You can sit with a client's head of commerce and talk about revenue and margin, not features.
- Comfort with data. Dashboards, pivot tables, and a large export don't slow you down.
- Fluent Ukrainian and strong professional English — English is our working language.
- Based in Ukraine, and willing to be in a client's office when the meeting deserves it.
- The ability to work without being managed. We'll agree the outcome and the deadline; the method is yours.
We're a company of grown adults, and the work is done that way.
- Remote, anywhere in Ukraine. We care about what you deliver, not where you sit or which hours you keep. Schedules in Ukraine are not always in your control, and we plan around that instead of pretending otherwise.
- No layers. Small company. You'll work directly with the founders and with the people who build the product.
- We pay well and we say so plainly. Top of the Ukrainian market for this role, reviewed as you grow, with a performance component tied to the growth you actually create. No "competitive compensation" that turns out not to be.
- Real autonomy. Choose your own equipment, structure your own week, run your accounts your way. We won't ask you to log activity for its own sake.
- Time off you're expected to take. Not accrued reluctantly, not a badge of honour to skip.
- We hire slowly and we keep people. In exchange we expect the same commitment back: you flag the problem before the client does, you finish what you start, and you carry your accounts as if the business were your own.
We're not going to list snacks and table tennis. The reasons to take this job are the market, the freedom, the money, and the people you'll work with.
How to applySend us your CV and a few sentences about one client relationship you grew: what it was worth when you took it over, what it was worth when you handed it on, and what you did in between.
That's the part we read first.
