Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Controller. Be part of Hitachi Energy's Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service group, as a world-leading provider of grid connections and power quality solutions that enable our customers to build a more sustainable, flexible and secure energy systems.
Join a project-driven environment where financial governance, forecast accuracy, and cash discipline directly shape delivery outcomes. You will work closely with Project Management and cross-functional teams to provide clear financial insight, support decision-making, and strengthen project performance
Location, (Remote) anywhere in UK with some travel to Birmingham Offices

How you'll make an impact:
- Provide financial support across the full project lifecycle (tender → execution → warranty), ensuring transparency and control.
- Partner with Project Managers on commercial and financial matters, translating data into clear insights and supporting decisions.
- Support profitability and cash performance by identifying risks and opportunities early and contributing to mitigation actions.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly project reviews and forecasts, ensuring reliable financial insight and consistency.
- Support financial processes including invoicing, cash collection, currency exposure tracking, bonds & guarantees, and tax alignment with relevant functions
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.
- Strong Excel capability; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Experience in project or tender controlling in a project-based environment is beneficial.
- A structured approach with the ability to move from data to insight to action.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
