As a Product Owner within the Business Architecture Core Services Team, you will lead the delivery of cutting-edge applications and tools that support data management, controls, analytics, and reporting. You will work closely with users and technology teams in an agile environment, managing a prioritized backlog to ensure maximum value aligned with strategic goals. You will help shape the team culture, bridge technical and business needs, and contribute to the modernization of finance and risk platforms. Your role is pivotal in driving change and supporting the firm's mission.

Job responsibilities

• Innovate within an Agile framework to craft solutions that integrate automation, data management, and controls toolsets.
• Chart a strategic roadmap for user-centric data management and controls technology products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Champion your product's vision, prioritize features, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Leverage expertise in system architecture and banking product data to bridge technical specifications with business needs.
• Partner with development teams to transform business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria.
• Navigate the entire SDLC lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, blending technical and functional elements.
• Engage and inspire stakeholders at all levels, presenting technical and business perspectives with clarity and impact.

• 7 years of experience in user-facing product ownership within financial services and/or regulatory reporting, with strong technical and business foundations.
• Proven track record in designing and building user-centric data analytics tools, managing large data volumes across diverse products.
• Ability to assimilate business and technical knowledge, managing multiple work streams with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in desktop tools (e.g., Excel) and data interaction, including SQL querying, for technical and business analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, leveraging collaboration and influencing skills to drive decision-making.
• In-depth knowledge of data and business intelligence concepts, including ETL, Data Modeling, and Reporting Automation.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills integrating technical and business insights.

• Experience leading a small team of direct reports, delivering projects requiring technical and business acumen.
• Mastery of Agile delivery methodologies, including JIRA and Confluence, to manage technical and functional project aspects.
• Deep knowledge and experience with banking products such as Loans, Deposits, Cash, Derivatives, and Securities.
• Experience with UI/UX design and implementation, enhancing user interaction and experience.
• Hands-on experience with technologies like data science, AI/ML, AWS, and Databricks, leveraging these to elevate product capabilities.
