Customer Care Front Office Representative (Fixed Term)

This is a temporary position for a fixed term of 2 years.
Be the central link between customers, operations, and the sales team to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently and cost-effectively. Build strong relationships, act as the Voice of the Customer within Givaudan, and manage the sales order process through to shipment for assigned customers and affiliates.
You Will
Strategy design and execution
- Implement the Customer Care strategy and follow global guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in Customer Care and take part in relevant projects.
- Support assigned customers and affiliates to meet order requirements and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with teammates to strengthen customer relationships and deliver excellent customer experiences.
- Communicate and collaborate daily with customers, operations, and sales.
- Resolve order requests or issues, and manage customer complaints or inquiries effectively.
- When applicable, determine corrective actions with support from the Support Office and Control Tower.
- Prepare debit and credit notes, process quality notifications, and manage customer returns.
- Manage customer expectations and build trusting relationships.
- Collect and enter customer forecasts, collaborate with planning on demand information and stock positions, and take part in demand planning meetings.
- Seek and act on customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate customer records, including information on contracts, labeling, packaging, and stock requirements.
- Provide coverage and support for teammates when needed.
- Select the most effective communication method based on the situation.
- Navigate challenging situations with empathy and professionalism to find resolutions.
- Contribute to improving new customer experiences by following agreed processes.
- Participate in customer visits and presentations.
- A university degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in a similar industry is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Experience with SAP and associated processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated customer relationship management skills.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping terminology.
- Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma (white/yellow belt certification preferred).
- This position is C1 level under the Chemical-Pharmaceutical National Collective Labour Agreement with a starting salary of € 34 280. This figure represents the starting level of pay, as we consider each person’s experience, skills, and unique strengths in defining the final offer.
- Variable compensation : 5% Incentive Plan bonus
