3D Technical Designer
Indexed description
Office based (1 day flexible post-busy season)
Large-scale exhibition stands at Europe's top gaming and tech shows, a portfolio that turns heads, and project ownership from first sketch to show-floor build. An Event 3D Technical Designer role where client relationships run deep and the work speaks for itself.
- Travel to major European tech and gaming exhibitions
- Full project ownership. Brief to build, yours to run
- Portfolio of high-calibre, large-scale exhibition stands
- Stable, long-standing client base with serious repeat work
- Close-knit team where your contribution is genuinely felt
The Company
This is a boutique creative agency with a strong reputation in the gaming, tech and electronics exhibition space. Built over more than fifteen years on the show floor at some of Europe's biggest events. The client roster is stable and loyal, with relationships measured in years rather than months. The team is small, tight and direct. People stay, and when someone is missing, everyone knows about it.
The Role
The Event 3D Technical Designer sits at the heart of a busy European show season, taking full ownership of exhibition stand projects for a client base that keeps coming back, and running each brief independently from concept through to on-site delivery.
- Produce 3D technical designs for large-scale exhibition stands
- Own projects independently from initial brief to final delivery
- Develop concepts and technical drawings using 3D design software
- Liaise with project management and production teams throughout
- Travel to European shows to support and oversee stand delivery
- Manage multiple projects across a busy seasonal show calendar
The Candidate
The right Event 3D Technical Designer has solid hands-on experience in exhibition stand or event design, and is confident working in 3D design software to a technical standard. You have run projects with real accountability, not just contributed to them, and you are comfortable taking a brief from start to finish without being managed at every step.
A background in adjacent disciplines such as interior, retail or experiential design is worth mentioning, and experience with European show environments would be a bonus, though neither is essential. What matters most is genuine design craft, a practical mindset and the personality to thrive as an Event 3D Technical Designer in a small, plain-speaking team.
A varied European show calendar, a portfolio built on large-scale high-profile work, and complete project ownership are what this role delivers. Interviews are being arranged now, so do not sit on it. Submit your application and an Event 3D Technical Designer consultant will be in touch promptly.
