Sales Support Representative

The Sales Support Representative will work across Sales, Customer Relations, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Warehouse, and Will Call, gaining valuable experience while helping deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Support Sales by coordinating quotes, orders, and customer communications.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
- Manage customer inventory and monitor inventory trends to anticipate customer needs.
- Work with Sales to execute account strategies.
- Partner with the Customer Relations team to fulfill customer orders.
- Learn and support AutoCrib equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate deliveries with the Warehouse team.
- Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory.
- Receive, put away, pick, pack, and ship products accurately.
- Inspect and process customer returns and non-conforming material.
- Troubleshoot fulfillment issues and identify solutions.
- Maintain departmental metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support a strong culture of safety and follow all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Develop technical product and application knowledge through training, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
- Stay informed on industry developments and provide input on market and product opportunities.
- Work independently while knowing when to seek support for complex or unfamiliar assignments.
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of related work experience.
- Experience in areas such as small-parts warehousing, route sales, or inventory management is preferred.
- Strong mechanical comprehension and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers.
- Understanding of basic sales and marketing concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Swagelok product knowledge is a plus.
- SAP experience is a plus.
- Microsoft CRM experience is preferred.
- Forklift and warehouse equipment experience is preferred.
