Role Description The Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubuque, IA. This position serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, greeting customers, listening to their concerns, and accurately documenting service requests. The Service Advisor reviews vehicle inspection results, explains recommended repairs and maintenance, prepares estimates, and secures approval before work begins. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with technicians, updating customers on repair status, and ensuring services are completed on time and to quality standards. The role also involves scheduling service appointments, managing work orders, processing payments, and promoting aftersales services to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications
- Customer-focused skills, including Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer-focused Service.
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in clear, everyday language.
- Experience or familiarity with Aftersales processes, including service follow-up and maintenance recommendations.
- Previous experience in automotive service advising, dealership service, or a related customer-facing role preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work orders, and stay organized in a busy service environment.
- Comfort working with service management software, scheduling tools, and basic office applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive or customer service training is a plus.
- Commitment to a professional, respectful, and inclusive workplace, with a focus on teamwork and reliability.
