Automotive Service Advisor

Automotive experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right person. Candidates must have prior sales, retail, and/or customer service experience and be comfortable explaining service recommendations to customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and discuss their vehicle concerns
- Accurately document customer concerns and prepare repair orders
- Review technician inspections, estimates, and repair timelines
- Explain recommended maintenance and repairs clearly
- Help customers understand their options and make informed decisions
- Obtain authorization before additional work is performed
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process
- Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, and service management
- Follow up with customers and help resolve concerns
- Maintain accurate records and close repair orders promptly
- Manage multiple customers, repair orders, calls, texts, and deadlines throughout the day
- Previous sales, retail, and/or customer service experience
- Highly organized and able to prioritize without constant supervision
- Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and accountable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while being pulled in multiple directions
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Comfortable explaining options and making service recommendations
- Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Comfortable using computers, texting, and email
- Willing to learn automotive maintenance, repairs, and Volkswagen processes
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Available to work Saturdays as scheduled
