Role Description The Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Naas, Co. Kildare. In this position, the Service Advisor will be the main point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles for maintenance and repair, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling service appointments, checking in vehicles, preparing job cards, and liaising with technicians to provide accurate updates and timelines. The role involves explaining work required and completed, preparing estimates and invoices, and clearly communicating service options to support informed customer decisions. The Service Advisor will also handle aftersales queries, manage follow-ups to ensure satisfaction, and contribute to maintaining efficient service department operations.
Qualifications
- Strong customer interaction skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Ability to deliver a high standard of Customer-focused Service.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both in person and over phone/email.
- Experience or strong interest in Aftersales activities within an automotive environment.
- Previous experience in a service advisor, customer-facing automotive, or similar role is an advantage.
- Knowledge of vehicle servicing and basic mechanical terminology is beneficial.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Comfort with using dealership management systems and standard office software.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
