We are working with a great construction client in Wiltshire for an Operational Software Developer role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing digital team and play a key role in supporting the adoption of AI and digital technologies across the business.
About the Role
You will support the implementation, adoption and ongoing development of Microsoft Copilot and construction-focused digital platforms. This role is focused on helping colleagues embrace technology rather than providing traditional helpdesk support. You will deliver training, support rollouts and help ensure digital tools add real value across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation, adoption and development of Microsoft Copilot.
- Assist with the rollout of new digital systems across the business.
- Deliver user training, workshops and one-to-one support.
- Produce user guides, training materials and process documentation.
- Support software platforms including Trimble products and MSite.
- Assist with testing, system updates and new functionality releases.
- Work alongside the Operational Software Lead to support the digital strategy.
- Build positive relationships with both office-based and site-based teams.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge.
- Interest in AI technologies, particularly Microsoft Copilot.
- Ability to support and engage users at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of Trimble, MSite or similar systems.
- Experience within construction, engineering or project-based environments.
Location & Working Hours
- Able to be based in the Wiltshire office but prepared to travel to the different offices and sites.
- Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week.
