Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for managing personal lines insurance policies. Will work closely with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met, including handling new policies, renewals or addressing customer service inquiries.
Job Duties:
- New Business Renewals:
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate personal lines insurance coverage.
- Process applications for new policies and policy renewals.
- Review policies to ensure clients have adequate coverage and make recommendations as needed.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to secure the best coverage options for clients.
- Client Service
- Provide prompt and professional responses to client inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Address client questions regarding policy changes, billing, and claims.
- Assist clients with policy endorsements, cancellations, and other service-related tasks.
- Policy Maintenance:
- Keep accurate and organized client records and policy documentation.
- Regularly review policies to identify opportunities for coverage adjustments or cost savings.
- Ensure that policyholders are informed of any changes or updates to their coverage.
- Cross-Selling:
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance clients' insurance portfolios.
- Offer additional products and coverage options to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Compliance and Regulations:
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Ensure all client interactions and transactions adhere to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Will perform special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid insurance agent/broker license for personal lines insurance required. Must obtain and maintain a Property and Casualty Insurance License in the employee’s resident state within six (6) months of employment and meet applicable licensing and appointment requirements to support the Bank’s footprint in Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky.
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and coverage options.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Dedication to maintaining client confidentiality and trust.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid insurance agent/broker license for personal lines insurance required.
