What Can You Expect
The Front Office team is responsible for welcoming our guests; check in and - out procedures and providing information and service. The Front Office team is also responsible for guiding guests to their rooms and handling guest payments. Together with the whole Front Office Team, you welcome our guests and ensure for a special stay in our hotel. As a Guest Relations Officer you are the liaison between our guests and the hotel. You create a warm, hospitable and personal atmosphere by welcoming guests in a personal manner. You exceed guest expectations by looking at what is the most important to the guest. Another important part of this position is the handling of complaints, checking of rooms and processing VIP treatments and amenities. Your main tasks will be:
- Maintaining contact with our regular and VIP guests;
- Assisting guests in a friendly, efficient and professional manner during their stay at Hotel Okura Amsterdam;
- Getting familiar with individual wishes of our guests and communicating them to the different departments;
- Handling and following up on complaints and suggestions;
- Checking guest rooms and handling VIP treatments and amenities;
What do we offer?
- Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extending. We want you to stay!

- Bonus: 1 week salary when the hotel reaches the budgeted GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and you get a minimum total score of successful in your yearend evaluation
- 8% holiday allowance (pro rata);
- 25 vacation days per year (pro rata).

- After obtaining the probationary period, you will receive an overnight stay with breakfast as a gift (2 people), so that you can experience the hotel as a guest!
- You have successfully completed a Hotelschool or a similar education;
- You have relevant work experience (1-3 year) within a similar position in a similar organization, preferably within the luxury segment;
- Knowledge of the Dutch and Japanese language is an advantage;
- You are flexible with regards to working hours;
- You have a good command of English language (both spoken as written);
