Role Description The MAHILA CAREER ADVISOR role in Kurnool is a full-time, on-site position focused on providing career guidance and support to individuals, with a specific emphasis on women’s career development. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, assessing career interests and skills, and helping individuals develop realistic career plans aligned with their goals. The role involves organizing workshops and awareness programs, sharing information on LIC career opportunities, and supporting candidates through application, training, and onboarding processes. The MAHILA CAREER ADVISOR will collaborate with local educational institutions, community organizations, and LIC branch teams to promote career awareness and development. The position requires accurate record-keeping, periodic reporting on outreach activities, and adherence to LIC’s policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Career Counseling and Student Counseling to guide individuals in making informed career decisions.
- Experience in Career Development and Career Management to support long-term growth and progression for candidates.
- Strong Communication skills, including active listening, clear presentation, and the ability to build trust with diverse groups.
- Relevant educational background in counseling, psychology, social work, education, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Kurnool and collaborate effectively with LIC branches, educational institutions, and community stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of insurance or financial services is an advantage, with willingness to learn LIC products and career pathways.
- Proficiency in local languages and English, and comfort conducting workshops, seminars, and community outreach activities.
- Organizational skills for maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing multiple counseling and outreach initiatives.
