Role Description The LIC Advisor & Bima Sakhi role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kurnool Rural. The role involves meeting individuals and families to understand their financial needs, explaining LIC’s insurance and savings products, and helping them choose suitable policies. Day-to-day tasks include generating leads, conducting community outreach, supporting policyholders with documentation and claims, and maintaining regular follow-up with customers. The role also requires building long-term relationships, participating in local awareness activities, and coordinating with LIC branch staff to ensure smooth policy servicing and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with individuals and groups, including explaining financial products in simple terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust, maintaining customer relationships, and engaging with the local community.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts or willingness to learn about life insurance, savings, and protection products.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the capacity to work independently and manage daily field activities.
  • Comfortable working on-site in Kurnool Rural, with familiarity with local language and culture preferred.
  • Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education in commerce, finance, or related fields is an advantage.
  • Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility toward policyholders and community welfare.
  • Prior experience in sales, customer service, or community-based work is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided as per LIC guidelines.
