This is a remote position.
Driving commercial expansion and account development across existing client relationships, this position oversees the end-to-end sales lifecycle for Software as a Service (SaaS) and professional service solutions. The role focuses on identifying expansion opportunities, presenting strategic solution visions to client stakeholders, and building long-term executive and operational relationships across sectors including Professional Services, and Higher Education.
You will manage complex consultative sales cycles, coordinate internal resource teams, and execute strategic sales plans to achieve agreed revenue targets and key performance indicators. The position requires a self-motivated sales professional with strong commercial awareness, structured pipeline management skills, and a track record of quota achievement within competitive enterprise software environments.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline within existing accounts for enterprise software and service solutions.
Manage full sales cycles from prospect identification through internal resource coordination to deal execution.
Qualify, manage, and follow up on incoming leads, guiding prospects toward strategic solution adoption.
Develop and maintain executive and operational relationships across target organisations to cultivate new opportunities.
Execute consultative sales methodologies while consistently tracking all activities and metrics in CRM tools.
Achieve or exceed assigned quarterly quota targets, sales metrics, and key performance indicators.
Support ad-hoc duties and new business growth opportunities as required by management.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrable experience in sales-related account management.
Significant knowledge and experience in one or more key sectors: UK Public sector, Professional Services, or Higher Education.
Proven experience selling for a major enterprise software vendor or competing directly against them in complex selling situations.
Comprehensive command knowledge of the enterprise software industry.
Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement.
Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated ability to actively engage in a consultative sales approach.
Strong writing, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Candidate must be based in South Africa and capable of working United Kingdom business hours.
