Rental Agent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Rental Agent to join our Stansted Depot. As part of our Vehicle Hire Division, you’ll be contributing to a rapidly growing operation that provides a wide range of light commercial vehicles to an impressive portfolio of clients. Our customer base spans blue-chip corporations, public sector organisations, and medium-sized enterprises, all of whom rely on us for a dependable, flexible, and high-quality hire service. You as a Rental Agent will be the key point of contact for our clients and internal colleagues within the Depot. In this customer-focused role, you will establish and develop new and existing business through building excellent relationships with our customers, assist with queries, offer advice, support and information, and recommend relevant company products. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You ensure bookings are placed on appropriate systems accurately and send out and retrieve paperwork where necessary
• You establish new and develop existing business through relationships with customers via professional email and telephone correspondence
• You answer calls from customers to assist with queries, offering advice, support, and information, and recommending company products
• You complete all associated paperwork relating to vehicle transfers and yard checks
• You maintain appropriate face-to-face interaction, hospitality, and professionalism towards clients on site
• You accurately calculate rental estimates, chase quotes, and follow up

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience You bring significant experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced Agent role, preferably within the Hire industry
• Adaptability You excel in a dynamic environment and can work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to Detail You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accurate completion of all handover paperwork and vehicle inspections
• Communication You have strong communication skills, enabling clear and friendly interactions with customers, even in busy settings
• Flexibility You are open to work on a shift rotation to cover branch operating hours, ensuring continuous service
• Driving License You hold a valid driving license and bring a minimum of 12 months driving experience
