We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join a local lumberyard team.Pay: $20.00 per hourJob ResponsibilitiesPull and stage building materials using a forklift for customer orders and deliveriesLoad trucks safely and efficiently under the direction of the Yard Foreman and driversAssist will-call customers with locating and loading materialsProvide outstanding customer service to customers, contractors, and delivery driversMaintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environmentEnsure merchandise is properly stored and orderly throughout the yardWork outdoors in varying seasonal weather conditionsQualificationsPrevious forklift operating experience requiredStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience working with building materials or in a lumberyard environment preferredAbility to lift, carry, and move building materials as neededAbility to work safely and effectively in all weather conditionsReliable, team-oriented, and willing to take directionWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is comfortable working outside, enjoys helping customers, and has experience handling building materials.
