$12AUD/hour(Negotiable depending on exp)

We are seeking aninitiative-taking and experienced Solar Engineer with strong Commercial skillsto join our team. As a Solar Engineer, you will design, develop, and overseephotovoltaic (PV) and battery systems for residential, commercial, andutility-scale projects.

Your responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:

System Design:

·CreateSolar PV array layout.

• AC,DC and communications cable path layouts
• Single-linediagrams, schematics and blueprints using CAD software.
• Batterysystems: appropriate load to back-up.

Equipment Selection:

• Selectoptimal solar panels, inverters, and storage batteries.

·Selectappropriately sized cable wiring,

• Selectappropriately sized switch gear and other electrical components.

Project Oversight:

·Guideinstallation teams

• Investigatesystem performance (Quality Assurance)
• Ensurecompliance installation is installed as per compliance.
• Followingup on quotes (not lead gen but discussing the scope of service in detail withthe potential customer)

Candidates must have:

• Bachelor’sdegree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
• Proficiencyin AutoCAD OR Python, solar modeling software, and knowledge of localelectrical codes.

·Goodcommunication skills

• Proficiencyin Word and Excel
• Mustbe flexible and be able to work to tight deadlines.
• Previousexperience in a similar role is essential
• Theability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.
• Beflexible and progressive in thinking and be able to action thoughts.

·Proficientskills in excel

• Experiencein BESS, smart grids

·Experiencein near maps is a PLUS

• Backgroundin PVSYST is a PLUS
